Hi, I have been trying to access sbf for past few days but I dun seem to be able to open up any of the sbf pages, waited until the connection time out still nothing happen. I have tried using the Singtel mobile 3G and singnet fibre network all cannot connect to sbf. I wonder any Singtel users encounter this problem as well? How about starhub or m1 users care to share your views?

Currently have to use the proxy server to access here. So wat really happen?

Try rebooting your phone, computer, modem etc.

Our techs will be investigating the issue, thanks for reporting it.

Does it happen all the time, or only on specific URLs?

Hello Rickey,

the site is being subjected to DDoS attacks periodically because of a disgruntled ex member. We had to add some special equipment and the setup of this equipment requires many adjustment, like for example DNS propagation. The DNS propagation process is not always fast, and is almost completely out of our control. It can take up to a few days to complete, mostly because ISPs often cache DNS data; the same thing can happen to your house router or PCs, so you might be connecting from a location where at some point there is a DNS cache in place.

Bros, gd to b back after several days of not being able to log in...was getting some withdrawal symptoms

From wat I read from another thread (see link below), it seem like the problem was due to a ddos attack on the forum server:

Thanks for your efforts for improvement, much appreciated.

FYI I have been eager to log in from the past few days as my 'SBF birthday' was coming, 18 Nov., which means +1 reputation power. But have not been able to do so because got error or forbidden message.
