Just found out that company has booked me into Four Seasons Hotel.
Any info or advice regarding this hotel? girl-friendly?? How is the bar here? ANy FLs or is it like the Bar at Shangri-La?? Any advice or info for this JKT newbie is MOST appreciated. Thanks

I just got back from Jkt yesterday, and it was the very 1st time that I took a Damri bus in Indonesia.
After checking out from the hotel, got into a Bluebird taxi and driver was honest enough to warn me that if I'm going to the airport, it would be safer if I take a bus instead of taxi or normal sedan car. He don't want me to get caught in situation with deep flood water along the way and got stuck thus missing my flight. I agreed and taxi driver drove me to Damri terminal to take the bus, with my GOLF set and bag, just imagine that..!! And it took more then 3 hours for me to get from Airport to Kota area because taxi had to do long diverting trip, making U turn in the mid of toll way due to flood ect ect. One word to describe the current situation in Jkt = MESSY!!! So for those planning to go Jkt at this very moment, go only if it's a real urgent trip, otherwise try to postpone trip till at least next week but check to see if situation gets better, cos I heard that the rain will still be heavy for another few days or even weeks. To those staying and working in Jkt, kesian de lu.....

While I was in Jkt during the weekend trying to get my kakis out for drinks and theses are some sms replies I got from them...
1) I can't get out, I don't have a boat and I don't want to swim in the dirty water... 2) I had to ride a bicycle to my mother house to help cos it flooding there... 3) Sorry I cannot join you, flood water got into my house.... 4) I'm trying to get my driver to get a TRUCK to pick me up, let you know later...
