Thailand's military leader and premier, Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha, has accused critics of using black magic against him, it's reported.

In a high-profile speech on Thursday, Prayuth says he'd been warned of attempts to cast a spell on him, the Bangkok Post newspaper reports. "Today, I have a sore throat, a pain in the neck," he says, speaking to officials at the Royal Thai Army Club in Bangkok. "Someone said there are people putting curses on me."

The general also says he performed a purification ritual to ward off possible evil influences - but hadn't counted on the side effects: "I had so much lustral water poured over my head, I shivered all over," he explains. "I'm going to catch a cold now."

In May, Prayuth led a coup against the elected government, saying he needed to restore order after months of mass protests. But opponents say the military is suppressing democracy and they are defying a ban on public gatherings. Prayuth addressed his critics: "If you still want to fight on and go underground, bring it on. If you resort to performing rituals, just bring it on."

Magical symbolism has long played a role in Thai politics. During the last big wave of protests in 2010, anti-government demonstrators splattered buckets of their own blood outside the PM's residence as priests cast a curse on the authorities.

Like u i had also seen alot of fake bomohs/mediums. But there are some genuine one.

Let me share with u my own experience.

Many years back i was very keen to learn mysticism. In the end got played out by my "master". Each time whenever i visited him i would gave him some money as a token of appreciation in exchange for whatever knowledge i learned from him. That moment when i called him on the phone, he can actually described to me my son condition which is 100% true. So with his divine knowledge, he treated my son. Do not wish to go into detail how he treated my son. But even before that incident i already believe the power or black magic. And it was so unfortunate my son was the victim.

Not taking sides, but what makes you think the master get his jin to disturb your son? Anyway, if the master does things like that, you just wait n see what will happen to this master. All masters have a higher power over seeing them. If they do bad, there is something call karma. I seen too many who went to the wrong side n when they get their due, it is not funny.

Up till today i still keep in touch with my friend though hes already in Msia. Known him before my 1st born child. Known him so many years leow. So i know hes an honest guy. That particular night when he came to treat my son, he had a dream when he went home. Malay known as alamat (dream) (i think). I do not wish to go in detail. So his dream confirmed the culprit was my "master". When my friend was treating my son he did ask me whether i had visited any bomoh or medium? How did he know ya? So no choice i spilled the bean.

Sorry about your bad experience. But I hope you have confidence in higher powers. As for the "master" who was taught the arts and abuse it, you may get to see his karma on him someday. Believe it or not, I know those who abuse it, some how someday, I get to see it personally or heard from others what happened to him, for abusing it, or doing it to hurt others.

A healer does work for higher powers, not for demonstrations, or ask for money. Some cases they will tell you in advance he need some items for praying, which they will not tell you what it is for. I think you seen before.

Yes u are right. He told me he like to earn his due in the hereafter. I bet his reward come in many fold. He save a life, my dear son life.
