The guys are correct...if that was an extortion scam, you would have heard from the girl's police friend by now.

To be safer still & help you to relax, best option is to change hotel....but make sure to tell the hotel receptionist that you have to go home early due to some....well, make up some cock-and-bull-story or no need to give them reason.
The fact that her two friends stayed down at the lobby mean that was a genuine "quickie" for some fast money and not a scam.

Haiyah...I too have very similar experiences with yours (twice...one 16 and the other 17) , but I screwed them anywhere

I hope I can make it with you guys but the truth to the fact is that I am scrambling to find time to visit the City for business reason. As I mentioned earlier, we have a supplier in the City and we suppose to finalize the design within the next 4 weeks.

Live fm Clark, arr on the 30th and depart on the 4th. After checkin was hanging ard the waiting area. Flight schedule depart 18.15 hrs, time for take off, but aeroplane not in sight, waited till 20.00hrs, Tiger Air Phillipines schedule flight 18.30 hrs announced fight cancelled. 20.30hrs announced TR 2703 to Sg cancelled. Due to lighting strike the airport radar sys. TR 2702 fm Sg to Clark divert to Manila. Hv to arrange for over night stay at hotel twin sharing. Given a pce of paper to circular ard for name and local ctc for transfer info. By the time checkin hotel with some room allocation problem 12.30am. Next morning no phone call, we check with the hotel reception and found out coach will pick up at 11 to 11.30 am for departure flight. So rush and pack up our thing and start our waiting at Tune Hotel lobby. Coach arr at 12.30hrs pick up and left hotel at 13.30hrs. Drop off at the airport, clear the fk up security check, gather in a grp. Just hv a briefing that air craft still can't land in Clark. Their option will be depart at a later time, or send all by road to Manila for departure flight. Waiting for further departure info.

Latest update live in Clark, flight can only resume on 07/05/2015. Many hv make arrangement by road to Manila. And Manila Tiger Air, also hv empty seats on the 07/05 only.

The Clark air port ILS hit by lightning and is Inop.

all.instrument flights cancelled till further notice, i.e night / evening / rainy weather flights, full Cat 2 / 3 restoration date unknown

Curious to know how it happened unless they never maintain the Lightning dampers / missed regular resistance checks

Anyway it's a regular day in Philippines...
