bad news guys...Striker Fernando Torres is a doubt for Liverpool's upcoming Premier League and Champions League clashes

after tearing a thigh muscle in Spain's World Cup qualifier against Belgium...hope he can recover n ready asap

Sorry for Torres - his season has been stop start so far, and what's more he will miss out the Atletico return (now that we are playing at their stadium).

Important month coming up.

hi bro, Liverpool have confirmed Fernando Torres will be out for "between 10 and 15 days"...miss him man...

This injury came just so untimely for Rafa... To lose a striker of Torres calibre is really a headache. Will definitely miss the Wigan (H), Atletico Madrid (A), Chelsea (A) and possibly Portsmouth (H) matches... Though I reckon to not have El Nino for the Atletico and Chelsea matches (cos playing away man) will pose more of a "lack of firepower" problem...

Worried... Hopefully, Keane, Kuyt and Gerrard can stump in a handful of goals meanwhile.

On another note, news out there seem to suggest that Rafa may sign Heskey from Wigan when the Jan transfer window opens... Another old boy (after Fowler) joining back the fold at Anfield? Well, he's been quite a revelation of late I must say and I believe Heskey will relish a prospective return to Anfield just as well. C'mon.. somemore he is not cup-tied and so can play in Champions League. A dream for any player! I think he could be an ideal strike partner for Torres... especially if we are up against team of physical nature in their play.

saw both england games vs kazh & belarus. our stevie played better against belarus. cud be belarus more better than kazh then he up the tempo. vs kazh, may too relax.

anyway..hope keane can do the job with hopefully kuyt upfront...i hate it when rafa chooses to put kuyt on the right because wasted....mayb the 2 ks can do it tonight! hehe. also, rafa should try nemeth also...that boy is quite good...

don t get me wrong i luv stevie g to bits but sometimes he just lacks tactical discipline n that always lets him dwn.he got to realise that he can t do it all by himself.thats why i guess rafa is always hard on him cos rafa knows sg can be the best.he got to stop bombing ard all over the pitch n start using his head than his heart.when he s on top of his game there is no better midfielder in europe.hopefully rafa can knock some sense into him.

You mean like against Wigan now? He's just shite

To be fair, Stevie has been a far more disciplined player under Rafa.

Now are we going to come back in the 2nd half again? This is a game where everything against us seems to go in.

Next stop... Stamford Bridge. The only 2 unbeaten teams so far in the EPL and locked on 20 pts each... Whoever comes up top in this game would not quite determine the league champion yet (still early days...) but would definitely be in good stead. This is one match that I'd rather not be trailing... Chelsea is a different proposition altogether as compared to Boro, Man C and Wigan I believe. Cant wait for this game to kick off (tho we'll have a CL match smack in between).

Chelsea in the league I feel is not as difficult as Scum or Arse. But we have to cut out the slow starts and silly errors.

wah piang buay tahan man if they keep having to come back from a goal or two down....my weak heart cannot take too much of this shocks...Liverpool better strengthen the defence, think they are letting in too many soft goals this season resulting in them having to claw their way back but like chinese saying goes "Climb mountain too many times sure to meet tiger"....or something like that...meaning one day they might not just be able to fight back and win...
