Things are easier in Pattaya than Bangkok. I don't think you have to be concerned. "Pattaya is a city that doesn't sleep." So just explore all night long and don't need introduction at all.

I always say go Pattaya first time is to prepare for the 2nd time! Go get chopped la as long as not excessive like the jetskies can liow la. We are talking up to 6 figures here!

Soi 6 and Goodfellas have many ladies who are more than willing to accompany you to show you the ropes. Can BF them and go Walking Street , Hollywood etc

Bell service also depends on timing. They don't drive at night! If you touch down before 5pm it is ok but then also only Suvarnabhumi. If you catch taxi from the queue , don't pay more than 2000B , usually 1500B is more than enough. Don Maung add 300-500B.

Other options are to search the www for private pick ups. Some quote as low as 1000b but unlike Singapore , have their numbers in handy! Don't stand there like cock if they fail to turn up or cant find the driver.

I was not in Pattaya on Dec 28, 2014. No idea about it.
However, I will touch down very soon and will head straight to Pattaya Land.

Mentally I have already expected heavy traffic heading to Pattaya in this weekend at least till New Year.
