Look at it on the bright side. Much less people on the street, compulsory mask on, social distancing measures and so on, surely the numbers of local unlinked transmissions will drop. As long as the workers dorm are quarantined and controlled, people stay at home, the curve will flatten. Just need to rough it out for a while more.
It's not as simple as it sounds. Foreign workers are at risk due to their living conditions, but there is much anecdotal evidence of locals ignoring restrictions and flaunting regulations.
The government has been focusing on locals since the beginning, but measures have been very ad hoc even with the CB. Only yesterday we were told to have to wear a mask outside, yet there are still exemptions made.
I think it's going to get worse before it gets better.
More grim news, the CB might be extended. To make matters worst, repeated lockdown might have to happen worldwide as long as no vaccine is found. I shudder to think of that scenario.
I see the news social distances may be extend for the world until 2022
zap me somemore, cornavirus half boil egg ...getting nearer you.

USA is not equal to the world...although they think so and some other think so.
One thing for sure, rules of engagement for many businesses won't be the same anymore even when this die down. Well, at least until another pandemic come crashing in, possible if you observe yearly trends.
