Indeed. I have the same observation as nitefalcon. Such bumpings are normally made by newer nicks trying their luck.

It could well be it's safer to bump up old threads compared to creating New threads + being deleted by mod....

Noticed a number of those who suddenly 'bump' up old threads, out of the blue - asking for ctc/ location (literally, with that one-liner sentence). The old thread might be from a year or even 2 years ago, which the TS himself who created it in the first place might have even forgotten about it.
