Come on. there is no 100% guranteed way. But one thing is sure. TRY to look better. You dun have to be very lean & muscular. Try to have the rite amt of exercise will do. 2 days , 1 hr session in gym plus some jogging & no supper should do for most guy. Next will be ur dress sense, try to observe people that look good, & what they wear.
Next, think as a player. It is a hunt! a Game, nothing serious

erm imho TS not giving much of a walkthrough leh...
if one had money and am humorous and not bad-looking, he wouldn't have needed a so-called dummies guide liaoz... it's like saying "here's a dummies guide to playing basketball", then listing criteria like "6 ft n above, vertical leap of 1m n above, completes 2.4km under 9min, etc"... i won't say this is helpful wor... how bout we go back to the topic? more concrete pointers pls?

I tried to do what the TS suggested. Target $20 k property. Saved $20k, property went up to $50k. Saved $50k, property went up to $100k. By the time I saved $100k, property went up to $1 million.
 In the end can only buy HDB flat and only only enough to pay partial payment.As for chasing after decent gals (Non FL or WL), most of them are out to look for a husband during those days. U need to spend much time, patience and money to buy her heart. If u bonk and run, u break her heart. If she is timid, jump from 14 story (That time the highest Government flat in Singapore). If she is the fierce type, lead army made up of father, mother, brothers, sisteres, uncles, aunties, etc to your house to talk term with your parents. My experience is best to look for suitable FL and WL, pay, bonk, and go. If like it, RTF, if not, move on to another one. Save time, save trouble and have many to choose from. My two-cent worth.

I think what TS has suggested is very practical.....which is to save up and invest....cos most of us will have to slog it out to get the so called-'first pot of gold' from which we can invest and let it grow....
Of course this excludes all the ah sia kias and damn lucky guys who kena toto or big sweep la....cos before them their lao bei have already slog it out on their behalf and they are enjoying the fruits of their dad's labour.... So for others, the only way out is like what TS has said...BE a bit more cruel with yourself in the beginning....you'll see the benefits later...cos when you realise later in your life what could have been, its too late.... There's a chinese sayings i think: Xian ku hou tian = first bitter later sweet Guess that's the essence of TS's advice...which i too subscribed myself to.
