I went to Royale Star today and was informed by my rolling agent @ TMFT that Asia Star is ready to roll out on 5th July 2009 ! Its operate by Ben's Entertainment City. The schedule are as follows:

From TMFT 8.30am 10.30am 11.50am 4.10pm and 6pm

Return 8.50am 11am 2.30pm 4.10pm and 7.50pm

latest info is today ferry at TMFT not ready to asia star yet

it will start only from monday 6 july

long time never go cruise ship, can someone up update me if any of the cruise ship like LJ or LW ects have baccarat tables with monitor/tv that show the score/pattern of the current shoe? Thank you

It's confirmed that all ships LW, RS and LJ have that but not necessary all tables !

feedback for the asian star is that currently the ferry timing is not so good yet, sometime it may take a longer time to reach the ship and sometime the timing departure of the ferry may delay.

as on board of the cruise ship, facilities is good but expensive, more cater for the rich people.

currently seems like the ferry yet to settle down so will visit my fav LW for now till asian star get into shape

Went Asia Star yesterday and lost 1 month's pay. Now feel the pain, should have use the $$$ to go KTV and bang a few girls. hahaaa....

Currently Asia Star is very inconvenient to go.

The transit is at tanjung pengelih a island in m'sia, takes about 50 mins to reach. Unlike when you transit in Nongsapura to Leisueworld where there are 2 berths for the ferry to stop alongside, there is only 1 at tanjung pengelih. U will alight there and the 1st ferry will move out to make way for the bigger ferry to come in which will bring you to Asia Star. All these wait takes about 20 mins plus. Though the journey from tanjung pengelih to Asia Star is around 15 mins, the transit time is long.

As for the games and number of tables, only limited to jackpot, 2 blackjack tables and the rest are all baccarat. (they don't have roulette, SKP, 3 Pictures etc) Should have all these in future i think. Maybe short of croupiers that is why.

The plus thing about Asia Star now is that it is quite grand and new unlike Lesiure World. Best of all, the croupiers are chio, mostly PRCs. A few of them used to work at MV Long Jie before. I managed to see my favourite croupier Jin Xing there, hahaa..

Think will not visit any cruise for the next 1 month... Losing streak is still there.
