It is a figure of speech in the industry lingo to describe the medical officer's approval stamp. The color of the card varies depending on AV..... it was white for 2014.... a few years back it was brown..... I have yet to see the color for 2015

U veri bad picah bro johnn lobang. I dun blame him as not many outsiders have seen the yellow cards. And the original cards were yellow in colour when the scheme was introduced by ASP Mandy Goh and during that time all WLs had to go to the Middle Road hospital to get the cards stamped. No stamp means the WL is not given approval to work in Singapore. So in actual fact only the doctor/nurse + WL + OKT + AV officer are the only persons who will have seen the yellow card as it is retained by AV after the checkup. When the WL is due for her next checkup the OKT will collect the card from AV and repeat the process again. Very troublesome back then. But I heard the process is more simple and relaxed now.

Now yellow card only those at legal Hses at GL.. No more HC giving yellow card mah...
