Maybe you can try the Sunflower Hotel which most of our bros here stay.
You can try their most ex room about US$45.
Ever seen the room. Very nice and comfort.

If I may add..

Also newbie to HCM...checked many 3 star hotels.. usually quoted USD60 per nite.

I stay in a so call Rest house, S$20 per day, I am also a mummy's boy, but i still can stay in this type of place, so I guess it is ok for you... can bring gal also

hi sifus here, just share a quick story no FR

Visited HCM last week and was shown ard by some associates, at night, we went to a different night spot, 1st nite was a club.. 97 something (vietnamese words) and place was not huge but considered big in HCM, saw many really stunning females with to-die for body but seems like they came with big group of freinds and some looked foreigners, 2nd nite went to Gossip similar situation, just dunno how to approach the gals, they seems friendly to me ... last night went to this OZONE???? dunno wat name but not a bad club.. with small crowd.

Then someone intro me OKT.. US$ 50 per hour or US$ 90 per night, so the problem is 5 star/4 star hotels cannot bring gal back and it's too expensive to open another room.. so end up just see-look only .
maybe next time can try, OKT told me gals available from 5pm til 10am next day if overnight.

First Place you went is at 97 Nguyen THi Minh Khai. The "newest" place in HCMC. SInce most of the big players have been shut, alot of people go there. also MGM has closed. the building sold to become a restaurant.

As for Gossip, all the FLs are around the Bar area. Mostly group of girls only. no guys. Smile at them, cheers with them and if they smile back, cheers with you and walk over, you know liao.

As for "OZONE" that is the old name, the new name is calle "FACE" next door to a cafe called "Saigon Pho" locted on Tran Quoc Thao.

Hi. Eh many bros here had mentioned that overnight does not equate to really overnight. Most of the time they will find some excuses to leave your room.

my first trip to hcmc coming up soon. wonder how does the night life in hcmc compare with bangkok? any advice from experienced bros is appreciated.

i'm not rich. when i go to bk, i stay in watana which cost about S$26 per night only, is there any equilvalent type of lodging like watana (ie safe, basic clean room and g-friendly under S$40???)

from reading this thread, it seems to me that hcmc is more expensive compared to bangkok, is that true?

is having fun in joo chiat cheaper than hcmc for the same standard of ladies?

any suggestion for a itenery for a 3day 2 night stay?

Cant compare to Bangkok. Dont mean to be rude but Like I tell many people. If you are lookin for a "Fuck Feast" go to thailand, If you want a holiday where screwing is optional than HCMC is ok.
