Difficulty accessing SBF when using Starhub Cable - Page 6

For t past 1 week abt 10 days I had problem logging in too but in t office it ok ....really missed out alot of fun
Dum know due to SBF website or Starhub but still can see some bros update on main front page by their timing
Only till Sat all back to nomal
I m using Starhub too

hihi,,, ya,,,, i also having the same problem for the pass few weeks,,, no matter using cable , stick , wi fi.... etc still the same,, guess is the web site itself having problem ,,, hm,, guess outsite commonly some people will using programme / software to disturb the site by making it so slow or even crash,, guess SB need to find some solution fr your site hosting or your web master to consult... hm,, maybe try to hide or change your IP address,, guess some one, or some org , maybe even some authoriiiii ti ,, hacker, programmer... etc,,, to load tonesss of " PING " IP n your site just busy responding to all that n it will slow down your web traffic.... but details still need to ask your web master or the hosting agent... we cant help on that... hope it will get solved soon lo,,,, :-) as,, lot bro out there finding difficult to access ar,,,, :-) hee..

If there was something wrong with the site, I wouldn't be seeing 4000 messages posted daily.

Apache server is well within limits and the MySQL server is running very fast.

The problem is in the singapore proxy servers. It caches out of date information. I have set the TTL on my DNS manager to 1 HOUR! It can't go any lower than that. This means that any changes that I make should propagate very quickly. However, if the proxy servers that Singaporeans are forced to use cache the DNS for a much longer period, the site will become unreachable via that particular proxy.

Why don't you call up your ISP and ask them to flush the DNS cache. I'm pretty sure that will solve most of your problems. At the same time you can ask them how often they update the caches.

Bro, I managed to log on at first attempt yesterday at 5.30pm, my first log on via Starhub for one week. God knows how long it will last; will find out tonight if problem has been finally resolved when I log on from home. This message was posted using my iPhone.

Sounds like NONE of the IT guys/gals in the StarHub's data center or infrastructure specialists surf SBF

Probably some FT who are not aware of Singapore's lively sex industry yet. The recent spade of MRT disruption issues brought to my knowledge that now we have 1 foreigner for every 3 Sg/PR.... the population ratio of 40:60

For starter, boss can consider promoting SBF in phillipines more, as I betcha the IT fellow in StarHub that manages the DNS is a pinoy.

last nyt i cant surf SBF even using proxy

then i tried to use the link u provided ( since i used it b4 2 days back and its working ) but it failed also leh...

now posting tis without using anything and very smooth,... maybe tonyt will come back and haunt us again

I created this alternative domain to see whether it makes any difference. Since it's a brand new domain, it does not exist in any of the existing caches so the proxy server is forced to fetch the content from the server.

ya, i encountered the same prob last nite frm abt 8pm to 11pm... cant surf sbf.

will try to use tis link ---> http://sbf.today/ if i cant surf sbf. see whether it works or not.

now usin both & it works fine.

i cant surf SBF with starhub's safesurf. after i deactivated this value-added service, i can surf with no issue.

value-added service adds no value.. haha.

I have no problem with the new link (www.sammyboysexforum.com).

It is slightly faster to surf as compared to the original one as I had difficulty entering SBF for the whole of yesterday. I could only log on last night.

By the way, I'm using Singtel. Will it make any difference under Starhub or Singtel if the real problem is with Singapore's servers?

Unless they all share one big proxy, there'll definitely be differences in performance.

Hi Bro, I had the same problem as you last night; even unable to log on via Hidemyass as well as Anonymouse.org

I just got home to try to log on via the new link provided by boss and it works just fine. Excellent to be able to get my daily dosage of SBF without all the hassles over the last week or so. Hope this will last and no other problems surface for us.

Am using both domains, and both seem to work well now. The "old" one has been working fine for past 2 days too. I'm with starHub.
