I'm beginning to think Wan Bao is milking the identity of this lady for all it's worth. Obviously they know who she is and how she looks. By slowing releasing snippets of information on her, they can get a lot of people to buy their nightly tabloid. Plus Singaporeans are definitely hooked onto this scandal. Yaw Shin Leong is a lucky man. The SCDF and CNB cases are diverting attention from his alleged affair.

New Paper say Ng Boon Gay investigated in 2010 when he was in CID, got warning letter for insider trading. Like that also can promote to CNB head ah?

From wat I know of the civil service, including all the Stat Boards and some GLCs, once kenna warning letter, sure to be on hentak kaki for the next 10years or so liao. Most of those who kenna warning letter would start to look for a job elsewhere. Warning letter is as good as condemned liao.

These days, there are many, many "scholars" who can be promoted readily. Just dunno how this Gay bugger still got away with it.

Now, as for verbal warning, still not that bad. If kenna verbal warning, once your superior who met out the warning transfered out or you transfered out, no one remembers the verbal warning and the black mark disappeared entirely.
