//Those who are reading this, pls UP MY POINTS & bring me out of moderation, the terrorists and the evils here are afraid of people like me speaking the truth teaching the young thus have to zap me in moderation so that my posting will not appear immediately, if not, why zap me instantly
Well as I said, terrorists will always hide behind the computer and zap ppl, prevent ppl from speaking the truth !!! // Dear Mr Muthu, ours is a generation of well educated Singaporeans. If after going through the 1st class education that our govt is so proud of, we are so easily convinced by a few mere words words, I'd say our educations have gone down the drains. We should judge by facts and numbers, what we see day to day or even experienced ourselves. As I've said before, ours is still an efficient govt but we are going down a road of destruction if we become complacent. The people wanted to be heard and the govt have to hear them. Voices of people left behind by our govt blind pursue of growth and elitism. These are voices to be heard and not silenced! A righteous and sincere govt should not be afraid to hear and admit to the mistakes they make. No govt is perfect no matter how much they are paid. We just need them to realize the issues we are facing and solve them before the problems go out of proportion. Have you ever asked yourself why is our MIWs losing popularity despite roping in scholars and elites? I generally feel that it's because they are losing touch to the people on the ground. The very people that build the foundation of this very country that you are so proud of and loved but are now suffering under the current policies implemented. Don't we, as Singaporeans have the rights to voice out? Remember, we are a democracy not a dictatorship. I love this country too and am worried for her future and that's precisely why i am voicing out. |

times are bad thats why avoid HCs which rip us off. Go in knn entrance $40-$50 then HJ add on $50. The PRCs laughing their way to the bank.
Either go for good freelance private ML or use your own hand DIY better.

Go buy an island from your Indon bapok(transvestite) suharto friend, negotiate a good deal for yourself and build your own palace there, your personal MRT train will never breakdown, everything will run smoothly and the best part is you don"t have to pay any taxes and maid's levy there. Build your own university there, teach your own student and you can brain wash them 24/7, btw you can also build a brothel there without needing a license to operate because you are the CEO of your own island |

If i'm full of shit....i'm full of you.
Man, you really sound scary. It's either that you are another "born with a diamond spoon" or that you have never step out of your curry factory. Do yourself and us a favour. Go to a far away island, build yourself an army of robots and make them your citizens. That's the kind of country you would fit in nicely and name yourself Curry Mutu King! Remember to find really good programmers thought as I'm quite sure under your Iron rules, even Robots may also revolt! |

Re: do you feel everything keep increasing price here...soccer matches, FL, transport
Elections is near that why PAP hammer WP every week and PAP sees WP as main threat to their ricebowls. If PAP can bring down WP like how PAP brought down SDP in 1990s then Singaporeans will need to wait for another 15 years cycle before another alternative party rises.
If PAP do the same trick and bring down that newly rise alternative party again then it is another false dawn again. The cycle continues in endless loop. By then, most of us are dead already. 2-Party system will bring a less stronger central government and less stronger executive power but will bring a more independent legislative arm and a more independent judicial system. This will also bring more channels to allow more talent to flow into the political industry instead of the present single PAP channel whereby PAP alone decides if the so-called talent is suitable for politics. Less fear will also free up more talent to come forward to contribute to politics as volunteers, candidates, speech writers, campaign staff, policy researchers, grassroots etc. 2-party system bring ripples but is still lesser evil than one-party system that brings big bang to the nation whenever the central executive becomes abusive, weak and corrupt. Arab Spring, Indonesia Suharto Spring, Phillipines Marcos Spring, China rise and fall of governing dynasties are evidence of of big bang, violent changes, bloodshed and loss of lives to replace governments. When people dumped the one party government, they realise a power vacuum formed and there are no avenues to elect a new government due to lack of practice and tradition. There was no ready 2nd power to replace the dumped incumbent power. Thus it was free for all and resulted in chaos and violence. While 2-party system may bring more debates and take longer time to pass Bills but it allows peaceful transition of power and change of government controlled by a system. This is assuming change of government every 5-10-15 years is inevitable. Grow WP to be the 2nd government party. This guy should volunteer at WP as policy reseacher. It can contribute to Singapore well being without being involve in politics. This is politics and democracy. We have to take sides and stick to it be it party is perceive right or wrong. PAP supporters are the same. Whether WP is subservient or is right, PAP will always use all their powers to fix WP especially so if PAP is on the verge of losing power. This is about political survival by PAP and nothing else. It is fine to be neutral but do not be obsessed with neutrality. There is nothing wrong with taking sides especially the side of WP. In a multi-party electoral system like Singapore, voters need to take sides or sit on the fence and spoil your votes. You may take the moral high ground of neutrality but the pro-PAP organisations is not going to change even if you take this moral high ground. You need to fight guns with guns and not fight guns with spears. You look at all the pro-PAP organisations especially organisations that are suppose to be neutral and serve the public like Civil Service, Grassroots and MSM but we all know they serve only PAP, not Singapore. Look how Civil Service take away markets, buses, amenities, shops as punishment, refuse to upgrade, refuse to develop at Hougang and Potong Pasir for 20 odd years. It was nasty. Look how MSM protected PAP's backside for 47 years and help minimise and cover up PAP scandals and screw ups for 47 years. Look how Grassroots and HDB conspire to take away 27 open spaces after WP won Aljunied GRC leaving WP MPs no place at all to hold events and interact with Aljunied residents. Look at how GLCs refuse to employ pro-Opposition people and NTUC even sack pro-Opposition staff. Alot of nastiness is happening in Singapore and PAP is the culprit. Radios, ST, CNA, Berita, Ch 5, Ch U, Ch 8, Wanbao, Shin Min, TNP, NTUC, CDC, CDAC, CCC, RC, SINDA, Mendaki, GLCs, Unions, PA Grassroots, InSing, STOMP etc are pro-PAP and not shy about it. These organisations and people have already taken the side of PAP despite past PAP scandals and screw ups, so have Singaporeans chosen to support WP for good or bad ? Whether WP is the better alternative party than PAP, Singaporeans will only know if WP gets the chance to form government. Then we can compare apple with apple, not apple with orange. I do not see how a new government can be worse off for Singapore as compared to new PAP MPs who have no experience as MPs or Ministers as well. Opposition have tried everything from alliances and mergers past 48 years and it did not work. Instead the more the different alternative parties tried to ally, the more disunited the Opposition will look. The latest is SDA which SDP and WP did not join and NSP left. Time is running out for most of my generation seeing different Opposition parties rise and fall without any change in Singapore. If WP falls, NSP take over as leading Opposition party, then NSP falls, SDP takes over as leading Opposition party, that would be like 20 years spent ? I am taking my chances to grow only WP asap and rival PAP for government. At least provide this choice to Singaporeans to choose governments rather than choose Opposition, like what we saw at Malaysia GE2013. Democracy is about changing governments peacefully, not changing Opposition parties peacefully. PAP can still work comfortably despite a higher population density of WP MPs in Parliament Whatever issues, constraints and limitations WP face at Town Council, Parliament and Grassroots, NSP will face the same when NSP win seats. NSP should not laugh at WP now. WP has no executive power to do anything else but observe and then issue statements and wait for Parliament to covene rather than jumping to conclusions without proper information. Singaporeans need to know their politics before criticising WP. PAP is THE GOVERNMENT of entire Singapore including WP areas. Plus PAP government holding all stock of N95 Masks and distributing bit by bit. The other political parties with no seats can do anything and say anything it wants but has no responsibility of 2 SMCs and a GRC to take care of. Only PAP has track record of being populist and spending money to buy votes and fix Opposition. e.g. PA Grassroots, RCs, CCCs, CCMCs, CDCs, CDACs, Media, etc http://mrwangsaysso.blogspot.sg/2008...iasco.html?m=1 |

Sometimes, I feel our ministers are living in a different world than most of us. I think their 1st world salaries are giving them a false sense of how most of us are living.
