Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
to my knowledge, Italians do not like the number 7.
they like numbers 2,3,4,6,8,9,10 hence why Del Piero wasnt the happiest when he was given number 7 and Totti took his 10 for the Azzurri. |

or maybe another big signing taking number "10" shirt from Voronin too...?!! opss... sorry to start dreaming so early.... the net transfer for tis summer is almost zero, meaning rafa is actually not given any $$ to buy player tis summer..!! with the two stupid yankees around, more likely the one will take "7" while the other takes "10"...!!!

INSIDER NEWS FROM ANFIELD
It doesn't look good for our opening game this sunday against Tottenham Carragher's twisted ankle is not responding to treatment and has become inflamed....... highly unlikely he will feature in this game. While Skrtel has declared himself available for the game...... his performance in training so far indicates he's still not ready yet....... he lacks the fitness to complete a whole game....... and he needs to take painkillers before every training session Gerrard is out...... Torres is out..... Agger is out.... Aurelio is out..... we have been experimenting with San Jose & Glenn as the entrebacks ...... with Emilio and Philip as the full backs........ hopefully they can keep out the Tottenham strikeforce. |

Report from Reuters. Torres injury blow for Liverpool (13-08 21:25) Striker Fernando Torres is likely to miss Liverpool's next match with an ankle strain, manager Rafa Benitez said. Torres, who limped off in Liverpool's 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid last week, played in Spain's win over Macedonia with a heavily strapped ankle. However, he suffered a reaction after the game and now looks unlikely to be fit for Liverpool's season opener against Tottenham. REUTERS |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Well, given our injury list, this may not be the best way to start a season but I still can't wait for the return of our Beloved Team in action this sunday. It's been quite a long wait for the BPL to re-commence. I'll accept any kind of scoreline as long as we win this sunday.
Have you guys check out the new White jersey? I saw it today as it looks very nice in front. The back part looks flimsy though, like some kind of wire-mesh design. I wonder how much of my skin will it reveal if I were to wear it. Also wonder if the bra straps will show if a lady wears it. Good for our weather though. I'll be skipping watching the champions league live this season. I just want to make a personal point about the ridiculous price I'm paying to watch my football. Singapore is one of the few countries where competition results in the consumer being worse off. Competition only means we pay more. Getting 2 set top boxes is really silly. Sick and tired of the annual Starhub Vs ESPN Vs Singtel struggles... What about you guys? Getting Mio TV?
