bro, i think your way will work if the foreigner wife is university educated. But most bros here have foreign spouses who are educated less than university. The thing is, many self employed earn quite a sum each year, but they declare less for income tax as they are afraid of paying income tax and medisave. One of the only few ways the government access your income is thru your income tax assessment. You may own big flat, drive big car.. but government don't know as they assess your income via income tax declaration. So it may be beneficial if self employed bros here can declare high income.

My foreigner wife has been granted pr, i would like to know how many days does it takes for her to collect her blue ic upon submission of documents?Is it1 or 2 days?

ICA grant legal stay for applicant if sponsor (husband) produce ROM paper. When it comes to apply for blue-card, it is another issue.

Thank you! I have checked with ICA this morning, indeed it is 1 week to get blue ic. Need it for hdb application.

One more thing to add: to make it easier to get PR, if the local sponsor had been working for more than 2 years continously and has paid taxes, it will be easier too.

My PRC wife finally discharged from Portsdown Prison after 10mths term. We are living happily in some part in China right now and i dont have any intension to come back sillypore unless unforeseen.

She was not ban from Singapore (the rest were told that they will be ban from 1 year to forever during the last day assembly in ICA B4 removal). Probably ICA believed that we are truly husband and wife.

My question is can she get her LTSV or social visa again??

Just want to check whether anyone have this similar experience.

for bro with low edu or wife with low edu,dont b disheartened,one of my frd just got pr for his prc wife.

husband only PSLE,working as delivey driver for the past 6 yrs,drawing 1.8k,sometime more due to OT.
wife also primary school edu.

he took 4 mths to get his wife pr!

4 mths that fast liao. Me ITE with NTC 2....my wife got 1 year pass then give birth to our son then got PR that almost 2 yrs man. Forgot my wife is from thailand.
