Alfamart apologizes after Instagram photos of employee sitting inside food freezer go viral
![]() Alfamart, one of Indonesia’s largest convenience store chains, is facing a PR controversy after a couple of images of its employees engaging in shenanigans in one of their outlets went viral. The photos, which were posted to Instagram via its Stories feature, show two employees — one male and one female — committing a food hygiene faux pas as the female employee sits inside a freezer containing packs of frozen food while the male employee seems to be partaking in the cheerful occasion. One of the photos was captioned, “Keseruan tiada akhir haha” (endless fun, haha). ![]() Alfamart has confirmed the authenticity of the photos and has issued a public apology on social media on behalf of the unnamed employees in the photos as well as anyone else who may have been involved. ![]() In the apology post, Alfamart mentioned that the misbehaving employees would face unspecified “stern sanctions” from the company as a result of their actions. The company did not reveal the identities of the employees, nor did they say which one of the chain’s thousands of outlets across Indonesia might contain frozen chicken nuggets contaminated by an Alfamart employee’s bum. |

Indonesia Corruption
When asked who he obtained alleged bribe money from, Indonesian official responds, ‘from God’
![]() Indonesian politicians have been caught in all sorts of corruption scandals, but we can’t think of another so brazen as to use God himself as an alibi for their ill-gotten gains. Yesterday, former director general of the Department of Sea Transportation (Hubla) Antonius Tonny Budiono faced questioning from Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators regarding his alleged involvement in a bribery case. Late last month, the KPK carried out a bust against Antonius, during which they found 33 bags and suitcases containing money in the form of rupiah, US dollars, pound sterling, euros, and Malaysian ringgit amounting to more IDR20 billion (US$1.5 million). KPK officers needed about six hours to count all the money. Following his questioning at the KPK yesterday, reporters noted that Antonius had a grin on his face. When asked where he obtained all the money from, he simply responded, as quoted by Kompas: “The money came from God.” Antonius didn’t seem to be in the mood to answer the reporters’ questions seriously, as he continued to dodge questions with jokes. For example, when reporters prodded about the questions KPK’s investigators asked him, Antonius responded with, “(I was) questioned about life after death.” Antonius, who is currently detained by the KPK, is a graft suspect after he allegedly received bribe money from the private sector to help them with various construction projects. He has been extremely uncooperative in revealing to the authorities where the money came from in previous interrogations, claiming that he has “forgotten” the specifics. However, he hinted at the existence of a corrupt “mafia” inside the Transportation Ministry, but has not revealed their identities. |

Pic of elderly woman being sexually harassed on Jakarta public minivan draws outrage
Photo of elderly woman being sexually harassed on Jakarta public minivan draws outrage on social media
![]() We’ve read many accounts about the culture of street harassment many women have experienced in Jakarta, but a photo that has recently gone viral on social media in Indonesia illustrates just how pervasive it can be. The photo, posted by Facebook user Novira Andraena, shows a man touching an elderly woman wearing a hijab on a public transportation minivan in Jakarta and has already been shared over 2,000 times. In the caption, Novira says that it was a clear case of sexual harassment and proof that it doesn’t just happen to young women wearing revealing clothing. According to the caption, the incident happened while she was in an angkot minivan on Thursday morning going towards Sudimara Station in Tangerang. At the time the only passengers was Novira, the victim, the perpetrator and another man who was looking out onto the street. Novira noticed that the perpetrator was sitting very close to the victim and then saw he was reaching over to touch her chest while she slept. And then he did it again. Not believing what she was seeing and scared, Novira said she watched in horror and took the photo. Novira says she kept staring at the perpetrator until he finally stopped what he had been doing. The victim woke up and the angkot reached its final destination. She waited until the harasser was gone and then went up to the elderly victim and showed her the picture. According to Novira, the victim was shocked and said, “Oh Lord, how could he do something like that, I’m already a nenek-nenek (grandmother).” Novira then accompanied her to her train. |

Anyways, don't wanna be mean, but Brown is perhaps the most despised customer group by Classic girls (along with Black, Arabs, and then Ang Mo). As per my local contact and discussion with a mommy there, a few mommy group/sofas will absolutely avoid your type, because their girls not willing to go so low for money, and it will alienate their local or Asian customers when they see Brownies with their girls. A few of the less popular mommy/girls will cater to you, but they are the ones willing to fuck Browns just for the money and never the good ones. The cherry girls will never also. Just sit at a chair and observe this: when a local/Jap guy walks in ALL mommies rush to him to try help him, but when you see Brown/Arab customer comes they are basically ignored except one or two mommies desperate to sell some girls for quotas. Not sure why you are willing to patron a place that only just tolerates your kind and treats you like a second class citisen. Especially since the service there is not even that good anyways. There are so many other places where you would get treated better (like DeLila, Bats, BlokM etc.. ) |

![]() All the photos are REAL, of Pakistani Child molestor gangs convicted of Grooming young kids in UK. As you know it is a major epidemic going on for decades in the UK, which ruined the lives of 1000's of innocent young children. A true reflection of the Pakistani culture and people and their impact which you try brush aside by pulling the victim card and calling me a racist. Nothing fake, false or racist here, just the true facts. If you can't accept facts please grow up. Stop pretending you are a victim. Don't accuse me of being a 3rd world beggar when it seems you are ashamed of being a 3rd World Pakistani migrant ![]() If you want to change the image of your people, i suggest you stop trolling around here, grooming young kids, and do more positive things when you aren't busy selling kebabs. By the way, which kebab stand do you work for? you can make my migrant shawarma for me next time i'm in London. Last edited by lost99; 23-09-2017 at 10:02 AM. |
