I kenna tooth ache before. Visited one dentist and he told me need to extract entire tooth out. He told me about $1k. I kind of freak out but agree to it as I was in pain. After examining her tooth, the dentist said that her tooth decay is quite bad. If she wanna save it she has to do a root canal treatment it may cause between $2K and $3K. But if she wanna extract the tooth it may cause about $300 - $400. Upon hearing the price, she also freak out and left the clinic after collecting some painkiller! haha...

I had advised her its actually pointless to save that tooth but she is that hard-headed. Nothing can sway her thinking of spending those few hundred dollars for the extraction.
