I am planning my first trip to Batam...2d1n. A while ago, I read the forum, but I can't remember a damn thing So, I am re-reading some of the pages.

My agenda is simple: massage, booking joint for a girl overnight, and food.

As I skim through some of the postings, it seems like shops closes and new one pop open often.

My questions are:
if things are constantly evolving, when I read the threads here, how far back should I go? 6 months? Anything said more than 6 months ago is likely out of date?
