I've never been to JB but have heard a mix bag of stories. Would love to explore but the news on traffic jams at the border crossing and targeted crime, car jacking etc... huge deterrent for me.

Visited one super syt viet fl in JB about a month back. 200rm only. Unfortunately the feel was very commercial.
