The cheaper way of drinking (that we did), the pricing is not set by me (red wine 300, hard liquir 400), but the big market players.

Just to share my own experince here. End of last year, when I was with the big group of 30 over friends, we booked 3 rooms at bandao, and I charged the rate lower, rmb300 per pax on hard liquir.
(the cost can be lower down if you have big group)

You know what, few days later, while I was walking on the street, a guy came from behind and tap on my shouder, and invited me to "drink tea". He asked why I do cheaper than all others? Was I doing to attact their businesses?

I was trying my best to explain to him that I don't mean to make money, but those are my closed friends so I was doing as a favor. However, he "advice" me not to do so next time, otherwise the "drinking bill" could be even higher!

All the tour agents in CP & CA are working on the comptetative but yet collabrative mode, they agreed on the market price mutually. If you want to do something different, you might against with them.

And CP & CA are so small that they have the relationship with most of the ktvs management, lao-zong, jing li, even the DJ!

With the cheaper way of drinking, there is not much gaining on that, but they gain from other sources via the ktv session (that you should know by now). This is kind of the win-win situation, you gain the lower bill on drinking, and they gain what they want (like monthly quota room booking rebates, collecting the tips from MM and etc).

I don't mean to frigthen you, but we are there for fun, better cheong in the safer way...


From the friend who have gone through the experience and do not wish to see my good friend follow my previous wrong step...



(P/S: I thought after so many nights of drinking, we must be very tiring, so thinking to have the light version at miraton without doing any pre-arrangment, as i told you, we go by the normal bill and split.

But ended we still opened 7 red wines + mixers, before 11pm; the bill was 1381 after discount, plus DJ 200, the total was 1581. that is about rmb320 each.

If we don't proceed to LA bar, for sure we will continue drinking and the bill will be even higher...

I personally think free flow is the good option, so that we set our worries and uncertainties away)
