Last year, there was a sweet Mandarin speaking chick manning the fried pork snacks stall outside the Muslim shop opposite MacDonalds on same side as suckling pig shop. A few shops after suckling pig shop actually.
Now almost all the street hawkers around the vicinity of Lee Gardens Plaza are wearing tudangs. I was surprised when even the chinese family selling desserts which I frequent previously was wearing tudang now.
Who knows maybe if business still no good, they may have new add like "Special Service-2 hr 1500 12 hrs 4000baht"
Tunes belongs to Air Asia so they dun have to worry about poor business.... all Air Asia has to do is cancel one flight and give out "room voucher" valid at the Tunes and they will have near full ocupancy...... and as we now know.... the vouchers are just a tool to scam the passengers money when they stay at the Tunes.
If its the old "New World Hotel", then it should not be facing any Funeral Parlour? More likely the Hatyai Central as mentioned by brother Mlvnyong. Care to confirm the actual Tune hotel?

Visited the wet market & have dinner there. Foods very nice & cheap. Lot of Thai dishes that never eat bef in SG. One of my bro brought 5kgs of Chai Poh. Maybe he want to make Chwee Kueh with chai Poh to open a stall in Hatyai next time.

"Somchai" is the most frequent name given to boys in Thailand, with about 240,000 Somchais registered throughout the country, the central domicile registration office of the Interior Ministry revealed today.
The four next most popular names, according to the official registrations, are Somsak (230,000), Somporn (210,000), Somboon (170,400), and Prasert (170,000).
As of Dec 31, 2011, the population of Thailand was 64,076,033. The number of females exceeded that of males by 1,017,737.
The five provinces with the largest populations were Bangkok (5 million), Nakhon Ratchasima (2.5 million), Ubon Ratchathani (1.8 million), Udon Thani (1.5 million) and Si Sa Ket (1.4 million).
The province with the smallest number of population was Ranong (180,000).
The figures were released today to mark World Population Day.
