if i am in hcmc and have nothing better to do at night, then I will go eat those roadside store drink beer and eat "seafood" near 194 Pasteur St. never tried to remember exact location but near 1 KFC. sometimes can see celebrities there too...

The wan ton mee next door is not suitable to my taste... try at your risk...

I am sure to give want ton mee a miss. I love the local Vietnam food with lot's of vegetables eaten fresh. Always like to eat the fried fish wrapped around the rice skins eaten with lots of fresh greens and dipped into the various sauces.

That is exactly how I feel about eating "chinese" food in HCMC also. And if you like the vega wrap wrap here wrap wrap there.. then I highly recommend this one... my favourite ..

there's lotsa nice "chinese" food in D5 actually, one of the best wan ton mee i ever had was from somewhere there (sorry but dunno the address). after eating, come back to singapore all the wan ton mee cannot make it already

Thank you for recommending. I shall try it next time. Always eat "banh xeo (not sure if correct spelling)" in those cheaper eateries whereby they specialise in it.

I tried it at the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia street branch... like the pan cake more than the vege..went during peak lunch hour so have to wait very long for it..
