Sometimes I'm just glad King Kenny never became the manager. Without money to buy players and inheriting a lousy squad, we will all scold the manager soon... and he's the last guy we will wish to scold.
Ha ha thats the typical mindset(if they have one) of a liverfool fan.
Before 2 years, they were talkin about winning the league and criticisin Rafass, last year about a champions league spot, this year even relegation.. every time they simply complain complain and complain about the manager.

Fernando Torres will not travel to Bucharest for Thursday's Europa League clash with Steaua - while at the back Danny Wilson will deputise for the injured Jamie Carragher who is out for 12 weeks.
Our Spanish striker is to be rested ahead of Monday's Barclays Premier League encounter with Aston Villa.
Those who will definitely start include 18-year-old Wilson, whose only appearance since signing from Rangers this summer came in the League Cup defeat to Northampton.
He will partner Sotirios Kyrgiakos at the back - and the pair are likely to be joined in defence by Fabio Aurelio and Martin Kelly.
Hodgson told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Martin Kelly and Danny Wilson will start against Steaua Bucharest and it's a great opportunity for them to stake a claim to be in the first team.
"Not being able to take the points we deserved against Tottenham has kept us in a mid-table position so the next games coming up are going to be very important.
"I've got to be careful not to risk too many of the players I want out on the field against Aston Villa.
"Torres won't travel. I can leave maybe as many as six or seven players who I expect to start against Aston Villa out of the team.
"It means on paper I'm taking a weakened team, but I believe people like Joe Cole, Ryan Babel, Milan Jovanovic, Danny Wilson, Christian Poulsen and Jonjo Shelvey are more than capable of doing a good job for Liverpool Football Club."
Dani Pacheco is also expected to feature in Bucharest, where a point would ensure we progress to the knockout stages.

er.... Roy, heard tat?!
so pls play aurelio or kelly and drop him to the reserve until he's good enough for the team...
we can't wait half a season for him and another half for poulsen (but at least he's been dropped now) to be back to their best, er... which we still think is not good enough for us...
furthermore konchesky has been playing in england whole of his career, so no excuse of settling in a new league...

RH's not prioritising Europa this season so I guess Torres' absence wont surprise or disappoint many of us. He's been using youngsters in Europa and it had worked well for us so far. I mean at least we are gettin this far. hehehe. Good if Pacheco can also use Europa to showcase his talents n show RH he deserves 1st team appearance.

yes, very disappointed with Konchesky so far. having watched him blossom at fulham which he has a knack of taking rocket long shots n scoring occasionally, I was also one of the fans who gave the thumbs up for his purchase. but he has yet to prove himself so far - he's juz average at best.

Pls do not visit the point exchange groups giving the impression you are keen to exchange points but disappear after one post. Or promise to return points but did not do so after months.
Min 5 pts for exchange.

Bugger scored against us in the FA Cup final remember?
Yes, looking to our youngsters to play hard and get some experience in Romania.

This thread hasn't discussed Liverpool's pre-season to Asia next year. I doubt they will come to Singapore since the national stadium is being demolished. I'm glad that it's in Singapore during the last visit that Stanchart thought of sponsoring Liverpool. Reported a few days ago. Jalan Besar stadium possible? Or the old Jurong Stadium that can sit 10,000 fans?
we have the tiny floating platform by marina....it's a possible venue apart from the padang (unlikely though)

Ok you got your wish. Konchesky is dropped for the Europa game against SB
But he will be back for the AV game...... together with Torres, Johnson, Kuyt, Meireles and Maxi I think RH is going for an attacking lineup in the AV game.

Now's a good time to play Aston Villa..... they got several players on the injured list. This game 3 points napshot for Liverpool.

Im one of the Lucas bashers but to be fair, at least we are seeing some redemption on his part in recent games. Maybe the turnaround of fortunes which also saw Maxi n Mireles improving rubbed into Lucas who seemed to have more enthusiasm, confidence n making better contributions.
maybe too early days lah, we are looking for consistency. let's judge him at d end of the season!
