If i shopped in BCS,i probably carry lots of stuffs with me. Make no sense for myself to sweat all the way trying to get a taxi using Grab or GoCar,so i will just take a taxi from the respective mall's entrance.

If i am empty hand,i just ask my friend to order GoCar and walk to the nearest hotel entrance,eg Gideon Hotel, Batam City Hotel etc and then i wait (usually inside hotel).The trick is,my friend dont keep looking at her own phone or order these taxis upon arrival at those hotels. I confirmed the taxi order during the walk,get the car number and color of car before i reach pick up point (i tell driver my clothes color too).

Note : Sometime the Go-car number can be different tho

My trick of using online taxi,i just dont make it too obviously that i am using online taxi or be looking like one who does,hehehe... (eg, keeping looking on my mobile,talking over the phone in non-aircon places etc) Sometime i think those guys (both the drivers and passengers) only has themselves to blame when they are making it too obvious or in my own words, "making simple communication complicated".

I have no problem taking GoCar outside hotel entrance so far (maybe becos i dont use them all the time). Which includes, Swissbel,Zest, 9 Days, Formosa, DaVienna, Batam City Hotel, Gideon,...hmm...cant remember the rest.

Thank you for the update bro Nono. Now I have to rethink where to go for a massage (maybe with ++) before checking into hotel. I really like luxurious hotels, and for my 2nd trip, I booked a room at Aston Hotel. Damage 910k for a 40sqm with balcony. I smoke a lot when overseas, but I hate the residue smell in the room, so the balcony helps a lot.

Feeling kinda emo as I was supposed to meet my booking ML this weekend , but she video called me yesterday to tell me that instead of returning to Batam on 9th, she decided to stay and work at Jakarta. And now she's asking me to visit her in Jakarta. Still on the fence whether to go or not, but probably in December if I decide to.

Probably will head for some MP around utama or maybe try ocean before hotel check in.

Can take from A2 food court area hehe. Grab got loyalty point. I use it in Singapore so it suits me hehe

Why not to buy at arrival? At least, you can try it in front of the seller and pay after you see it works.

I'm going Batam soon, staying at Harmoni Suites Hotel. Am i able to tabao girls from other hotel's KTV? ie. Alishan KTV from Formosa Hotel.

Hi Bro,
That is the hotel we always used in Batam.
Book any girls you like from anywhere and there is no problem bringing them to your room. We always take WeChat girls, waiting for them at lobby to confirm that they are the actual girls we are interested not ladyboy or others. Cheers and enjoy.
