I’m no driver to comment but I can see why sometimes driver prefer to drive in, especially if first time visit you don’t know if nearby got what parking options. i've been offered by ML few times but rarely do so cos usually i arrive early by at least 15 mins, (ML will not be free to open gate at that time), so i rather park nearby and wait at discreet locations.
