Nope you're wrong. CNX is famous for its KTVs. Similar like Bkk, famous for itself gogo bars and g club. CNX also not lacking for coyoty clubs. There's one at loi kroh. Called sugar beat chiang mai.

Freelancer bars are cluster along the loi kroh stretch. So far I only tried twice, and that was about 3 years ago.

Explore the changklan area more, and you will find many ktvs. Just to share with you, girls in ktvs are not 100% thai is generally cheaper than kon thai. These girls are from Mae sai, Tak and so forth, and they called Thai Yai.

I went with a group of four, to one of the ktv, total each is 500 bht, and that's included the drink, girls time. And we drank sangsom. To me the most important is playability, no point drinking blue label but the girls can't play.

I have been going to this place for a few years now. Try the roasted tofu dish as well as the roasted egg-plant. Also the tempura, salmon salad and beef "steak".
The menu has pictures of the dishes, though they are tiny and blurred. But if you don't speak Japanese, then .......

Your KTV damage is stamp and confirm local prices.
Should be those mid tier ones.

Too many carrotheads when they go KTVs in Chiang Mai.
If you act tourist sure get chopped!

Ya many tourist came to chiang mai got ripped off by the ktv, as they doesn't know the hidden cost. Better ask clearly before proceed even those who have deep pocket. I think one farang got ripped off nearly 50K฿.

So if I would like to pay the ktv a visit sometime in the future, we should get a local thai guy or someone experienced to escort us in, just so we will not be charged the carrot rates?

I believe even if u run thru the price with them prior to engaging their service, they will still try to chop u in one way or another when the arrives.

if no thai people bring us in, just tell them I only have 2k baht , and that's all I've to spent for the nite. And ask the mama to customise a package based on the budget. This way u can't be makan by them. Does this works? Anyone done this before?

Inside have gals to takeout, I've never tried b4. But it should be affordable. Any bros here can add on more details on this place?

You should get a local friend with you, but you must make sure that he pay for his share too. 2k baht, yes, maybe for 1 hr, and drink sang som, if you going alone. The hidden cost is the mama tips, the girl will pressure you to order food, and drinks. This thing adds up to your total bill.

Normally you need to do the deed inside the room. And they're selective, I believe they won't serve any farang.

There's no way you can hide your bottle. There's many server inside the club. Unless you come late, and manage to find a table by yourself, which I think quite hard, and you can order your own ice and soda at the counter by yourself. But 200 bht, ok la. Consider as tips.
