To all the seniors here, I want to learn vietnamese language (speaking and writing) in a private school. Basically, I have zero knowledge at the moment. Can you help with some suggestions? Thanks!

To tell u the truth, VN is easier to learn than Chinese. But if you already know Chinese, then VN is even easier as many words are similar. The hardest part is pronunciation... how to make yourself understood by the locals as foreigners speak with a very weird accent, I was told.

My hardest part is making myself understood in the North, Central & South, as I have to remember to tweak the words accordingly.

look for the answers to these questions first,
where you are using it?
For work? For romance?
northern or southern accent?
