kuyt is one of our most consistant and best player over the past few years...and he has also scored some important goals in big matches... beside his famous "energizer" stamina, i think he is also underrated on his positioning (that gets him into position to score tap-in and rebounds), his awareness and his reading of the game... admit tat he's not as fast nor good in dribbling as some of the wide midfielder around, but he is definitely one of our best...

The former France Under-21 international appeared set to sign for Liverpool on a free transfer from Rennes to put a couple of disappointing seasons, marred by injuries, behind him, but the move collapsed on Friday. Reports in France suggested the transfer did not go ahead as Marveaux could not pass a medical at Liverpool, but the midfielder has now declared that was not the source of the problem. "I do not want to go into details, but if I have not signed for Liverpool, it was because there was a contractual disagreement between the involved parties, Thursday evening," he told L'Equipe. well... i'm not overly disappointed over missing out on him... btw, he'd signed for Newcastle instead...

i know it's only Jun but i m starting 2 worry tat we can only attract the young potential type of players but not the established players that can make an immediate impact which is what we need most............

Hope we don't sell Meireles. He's a good player. The price quoted at $13.5 million pounds is really low for such a player.
