okok i rarely post but i couldnt help myself here. I believe what you are trying to impress on us is that it is propoganda. Of course there is an element of it.
I remember a couple of years back there was an article on a chinese woman in Malaysia who was threatening to commit suicide and the rescue workers took so long (a couple of hours i believe) she jumped. And it was in the ST page 2. I'm sure there is propoganda there.

Having said that, with reference to your last statement, we must also balance that there are numerous reports on outragous crimes and inaction of the malaysian police. There is no smoke without fire.

You must admit bro The_Unrepentant has a point that if the competition has problems Singapore is glad to a certain extent. Lets be objective.

Anyway I think the state of Johor really need to do something about the crimes even in KL we don't hear of so many crimes been carried out. Else, the Iskandar Corridor project will definitely fail, bad for both Malaysia and SG too.

ya the malay police r bauster got once going to genting was caught speeding wanted to pay RM30 he said not enough n told me the inspecter 2flower stand there at lest need RM50-100 lala no choice pay RM50 n go off but few month later check fine at jb still got the spedding fine what the fuck pay still got fine all the malaysia malay cannot be trust

i ever met this before , also the speeding track , i still remember my speed at 110 , but they say more than that and tell me if fine is RM300 ,
but " boleh bicang " and want to belanja kopi $100 , then i say never mind u buka la samban , then end up they lan lan give talk cock say this time give me warning.

in fact , the police only know how to make use of the high way / road to make money instead of go and catch the real big snake.

Actually hor, the crimes in JB is getting worst, I've stayed in JB all my life and I've seen it change...the police can say all they want but the situation is not getting any better. Now I see police almost everyday at 6-7pm when I'm on my daily drive back home from work, they are hiding somewhere at the road corner trying to cari makan.

Now even for me, I try to avoid staying out late, when I go home, I try to make a few rounds to see if there is anyone hiding near the bushes or is there any bikes or car following me, better be safe than sorry.


Anyone coming to JB, just follow the golden rules.

1. Always be aware of your surroundings.

2. Do not flaunt any riches.

3. Do not walk very near the road.

4. Gals avoid carrying any bag if can.

5. When someone knocks into your car..see how many people are in the car then if you feel not safe, drive to a very crowded place.

6. There are some places in JB to be avoided at night.

The places to avoid is:

1. The Petronas petrol station in Tmn Molek (near Guardian)...that place a lot of people got rob while pumping petrol.

2. Taman Molek at large (the robbers are all from the Kampung Kelantan illegal squatters)

3. The road heading from Jln Tebrau to Ponderosa (at night)

4. Tmn Tun aminah...certain areas at night.

5. Pasir Gudang highway petrol stations (any) at night
