Luis Suarez has claimed Liverpool's best chance of picking up silverware tis season is in the cup competitions, with the Uruguayan suggesting Premier League title contenders ManU, ManC & Chelsea r "unreachable".

The 4ward has been a shining light 4 Liverpool tis season, with his 4 goals propelling the Reds up 2 5th in the table. They r just 6 points adrift of the Manchester duo, & 3 behind Chelsea, but Suarez feels they r not on the same level as the pacesetters.

"We hv no limit & 1 2 stay in the top 4. But winning the Premier League is now very difficult," Suarez told Gazzetta dello Sport. "The 2 Manchesters & Chelsea r unreachable. But we can win the cups."

The No.7 jersey is held in great esteem @ Anfield, having been worn by Kevin Keegan & current Reds boss Kenny Dalglish, but Suarez has claimed he was not aware of its significance when he joined the club fr Ajax.

"I didn't know the history of my No.7 shirt @ Liverpool," Suarez said. "I picked it becos it was 1 of the few numbers available. Now tat I know the story I m proud 2 wear the '7' & I try not 2 feel the burden of its heritage."

Suarez has adapted well 2 life in England & has been helped along the way by Dalglish.

"Dalglish tries 2 talk to me in Spanish & tries 2 help me," he said. "I appreciate tat."

Liverpool is close to choosing a naming rights partner.

According to the Daily Mirror, the club has narrowed the field down to three companies and is looking for a sponsorship deal that will help fund its future ambitions, which include a new or redeveloped stadium.

Liverpool is thought to be seeking a naming-rights partner "who are prepared to pay at least the equal of Arsenal's record-breaking deal at the Emirates, which was worth around £150 million [$235.5 million]," according to the report.

Arsenal's 15-year deal with Emirates was signed in 2004, two years before the Emirates Stadium opened its doors.

A deal in that range would make building a new 65,000-70,000 seat stadium a likely proposition, as the local council is keen to use a new facility to redevelop part of the city.

It is believed that Standard Chartered Bank, Liverpool's current shirt sponsors, is one of the three companies under consideration.

I wonder what's our max capacity that the fanbase can support. 65k seems a bit low, why not 75k which is nearly double current capacity. Of course Liverpool are not a big city and half the city supports the Blues!

If we can fill up 65K everytime when the team play it will be a boost to us

Recently there was a court case about broadcasting rights in the UK. See how it develops. In the UK, there is no live broadcast of football. Football in the UK is shown 3 hours after the match ends. This ensures that fans, who wishes to see it live, got to buy match tickets. Match tickets are pretty expensive if we are looking at a family of four. For the same money, if there is live broadcast, people might rather spend the money having a meal in a restaurant while watching the match or in a pub with friends. Like how we do it here.

If the broadcast rules change, then it may not be justifiable to build a bigger stadium cost wise. Kind of remind me of Malaysia cup days, we always had delayed telecasts. If it's a live telecast, fewer people will turn up at the National Stadium.
