if I am not wrong that is the Prime Hotel. The place haven't been mentioned for a very long time as the venue is a bit old and moreover, it's near Wangfujing which is one of the prime area with Tiananmen next door. The last time I heard someone mentioned about this place is like 3 yrs ago. I don't know if you will be able to get anything there. A good indication is to ask the MM her 它们是几百场? it will indicate their cost then

Slightly belated double FR for two sessions organised by Bro Nameci - haven't really had time or energy to log onto SBF as I've been busying settling into the city. (just arrived couple of weeks ago)

One was last weekend and the second time was this past Friday. Both nights, met some bros for dinner before heading to the Cat 200 KTV somewhere on 开阳路near the Third Ring Road.

Night one - unlucky because we arrived late, about 9.30/10pm. The pick of the girls was quite poor -- many were in the 3-5 zone...some real elephants in the herd. Night two - much better this time because Bro Nameci insisted we meet earlier to avoid a repeat of the earlier fiasco. Maybe a bit too early for the two of us who got there at 715pm as the advance party because the mummy wasn't even there yet! But then again, we didn't even need so sit through a line-up this time around. (which is good because some of the elephants I saw the last time were till stomping around, )

Three other brothers arrived later - I would say lookwise ranged from 5-6.5, definitely a step up from the previous time.

Cat 6 joint...can be consider as premium class K in BJ. To me there's lot's of newer places maybe with better hardware than the place so decision is still yours...Even the legendary "Passion" is of the same Cat...

If my memory serve me correctly, this joint is only a cat 500 joint. Recently some places have been trying to up their price, due to inflation. Depending on what you are looking for, the typical higher cat joints are more sedate vs. the Ct 200 /300 joints. Cost of room also depend on how much you drink as I think she is quoting you the minimum spend.

I just state my personal opinion... about cheong KTV in Beijjing.

Avoid going to these cat 500, 600, or 800. I had been to too many of them including the one in Prime hotel. There is always attitude problem and after paying so much, you won't buy happiness from those place.

My suggestion is to go to cat 200 -400.. there are gems in those category. search this thread and you will come out with some of these category recommended by bros... The one I usually go is 金沙 at 轮胎路 on the West 3rd ring road.

But Shanghai is different story....

Definitely true. I've had quite a bit more fun at the CAT200 joints that to the slightly more expensive ones I've tried. Plus there's less pressure to make sure you find a good one because of the price, so with lower expectation the results can be even more surprising.
