Please allow me to share my personal view why some of us ' seem to diss those fellow providing 'tour' services'. It is indeed OK to provide services & ask for a reasonable fee agreed upon by willing seller of the said services & willing buyer, however what we don't agree is when the said seller is out to con people in paying above & beyond the standard rates of the normal market pricing. Why pay more then normal rate when you've procured the services of a so called tour guide whose supposed to help you but instead he tries to fleece you. And in my case why I'm so against my particular trolling of the said so called 'tour' agent is because he has gone as far as doing dirty tricks & threatening an innocent agent whose not even involved in this case as he probably think were doing it to help the agent!

Just to share a perspective, I'm not sure how much is the tour fee being asked, but principally nothing wrong with this kind of service. Just like any other businesses, whether that be manufacturing/trading/services/etc, there is value in knowledge, access, time, etc. When I come to a new place, when I have the time I'll try to find as much info online as possible and so not have to get lost or have to pay someone to have fun. But when it's worthwhile, I think it's sensible and fair to pay for someone else's knowledge and time. Again, just sharing another point of view.

Of course, caution is always needed. There can sometimes be bad apples. Just an example, those who go TDs, may have heard of this guy who scam fellow Singaporean when going to the Bank/Pimp G-club in Bkk.

I will be going on business trip to Jakarta in May. Thought of going at least a day earlier to savour what Jakarta has to offer.

The obvious choice is Alexis & Malioboro.

But I like the fact that some brothers is suggesting alternatives and hidden gems...

M star and Golden Crown... appeal to me since I do not have to travel, its the same building... and somebody mentioned sparks and orchardz....

Any further review on these alternatives?

I'm confused about what you mean by golden crown and M star in the same building.
they are quite far from each other.
M Star is closer to Alexis.

Spark have theme room, that you can play out some fantasy.

What I mean is that with either M Star or Golden Crown, I could just stay at their hotel and go to the designated floor for the required action...

OK, abit late for my posting.

So, a low down on Jakarta.

Went to several places (classic, Maliboro and Alexis) plus some other smaller joints littered around on the streets.

Straight and simple advise, just go for Alexis, the rest really pales in comparison. A word of advise is that when u visit Alexis, try and spend more time in the hot pool as the girls will usually rush u to the room. Forget what u read about koreans there, they are far and few between. Russian and usbekistanis they have in numbers. But most people will take the PRCs. Best looking of the lot.

Abit on the side track, i recently went to Phuket, Jakarta and Bangkok for chionging. Other than CP, i would say Bangkok still wins hands down. Forget about Poseidon, The Lord and Amsterdam. Venture off the beaten path alittle...price is the same, but the quality......is so so so much different.

yes, for the massage room only
Hospital, train, secretary, etc.

spark also have better hotel compared to golden crown and m-star

Basically crown and m-star does not have a lot of available hotel room as they are there for requirement only.
Spark on the other hand is a full fledged hotel (within alila group).

Cheaper alternative is orchard, that is a full fledged hotel as well, but have a spa on location.

Looking for some tips bros.

I'm needing to get from Bandung to Batam on 3rd May for the Batam expo.

Lion Air flights from Bandung to Batam are fully booked all week. So what I'm considering doing is getting a train/travelbus to Jakarta on 2nd then spending an allnighter in MalioClub&Malioboro.

Theres a 6am flight from JKT so I would be in malio&malioboro till 4am.

I know there's a passage on the upper floors that secretely joins the 2 clubs. The security guards aren't allowed to help with this but if you follow 2 male cheongsters up the stairs they will inevitably also be going from one club to another. You can use your bracelet/tag in both clubs but the management always ask who let you drift between them.

What I don't know abour malio is what times are the disco/lounges/rooms open until and how good is the wi-fi/gps connection?

Went to Diamond last night, the place is simple but the girls are not.
They are very pretty and the dancer are young and sexy.
The down side is that the place is at glodok, very run down.
But if you can get over that I am sure you will the girls.

My comments were not directed to anyone in particular, and for sure not to you. In fact, most should be grateful to your consistently reminding all of that particular person.

I couldn't locate the particular message where he threatened other people. But from several links you provided in the posts it's clear enough that he's less than honest in running the business, such as copying other people's post, false self-praise by using multiple user names, etc.

For P4P, the closest are Fortune spa @Mas Mansyur, Mayzo spa@Setiabudi, and the spas at the Grand Wijaya shop houses.

If you're game for some pick-up after-club fun, you're just a stone throw away from X2 and Red Square at Senayan Plaza. In weekday nights, 20% of girls at X2 are 'looking'. But the percentage drops to 10% during weekend nights, diluted by just regular girl customers. Same party-goers like you would find at Zouk or Zirca.

Red Square is a smaller/medium sized club at the Arcadia Plaza, still within the Plaza Senayan venue, in a different 3 floors building outside the main mall. This is rather a fun place, with girls would sometimes climb up and dance on tables (customers, not club's dancers)

The Luv's at Citywalk (on the other side of the road from Fortune), was also a good place to party and pick-up girls.

Do note in Jakarta's regular clubs, the places will just start to warm-up past mid-nite.
