Thumbs up SMRT Admit They Die With Cock Standing! No Idea Why MRT Breakdown!

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced in a media release that they are unable to find the fault that caused the major train breakdown two days ago (July 7) and they are outsourcing the investigation to independent consultants.

“Despite carrying out a comprehensive second round of checks last night (July 8), the root cause of Tuesday’s MRT disruption has yet to be definitively identified”

LTA also said they will pay for the consultants who are specialised in transit power systems and assess the overall conditions of the power and track infrastructures. Train services will resume normally during checks by the independent consultants.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew have said that they are both “very concerned”, while the Opposition Party Workers’ Party said they are deeply worried that the continuous train breakdowns, happening since 2011, could affect Singapore in terms of the national security and economy. The Workers’ Party also criticized the PAP Government that the number of train delays actually reached an all-time high in 2014 and 2015 despite having spent billions of dollars on existing MRT infrastructures.

Most Singaporeans have voiced concerns over the leadership of Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew, and wanting him to resign in response for his inability to handle the train breakdown issues despite having been in the seat for the past 4 years. Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew’s photo shots of him “standing by” in MRT stations by the government-controlled media have also drew flak from Singaporeans, who believe the former navy admiral is only out to score political points.
