Thumbs up SG Government Donate US$100,000 To Gaza Victims.

An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:

I hope it doesn't somehow land in the hands of the Hamas terrorists. There's no way the Red Cross can intervene if a Gaza victim buys a loaf of bread for a Hamas militant.

SINGAPORE GOVERNMENT TO DONATE US$100,000 TO GAZA VICTIMS

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has explained that the Singapore government will be sending US$100,000 (S$123,800) in humanitarian aid to Gaza to help the victims of the conflict.

MFA explained that this is part of an "International effort" as there is a major humanitarian crisis occurring in the area at the moment.

The money donated will be delivered through the Singapore Red Cross Society to ensure that all the money is used for humanitarian purposes.

The Singapore Red Cross Society has already partnered up with international partners to provide immediate relief supplies in affected areas.

The money will go toward the purchase and supply of essentials such as Food, health care items, water and sanitation devices.

Singaporeans have been encouraged to keep the victims of Gaza in their thoughts and prayers and those wanting to donate also can do so easily at any Mosque in Singapore and also through the MUIS website.
