charged $30 for 1hr by Hotel 81 at Balestier

This happened today Saturday at around 4.40pm at the Hotel 81 at Balestier. Its the branch next to the temple and Cheers store. I told the guy i wanted 1 hr and gave him $50. he returned me only $20. Is $30 the correct rate for an hr? or was i ripped off?

if i'm not wrong should be min. 2 hr block,at $30.

there is no 1 hr slot... its all in 2 hour slots... so even if u just take 1 hr they will still charge u for 2 hrs

Why didn't you simply ask him when you got your $20 back?

What good in starting a thread like this? Cos it's standard 2 hours block.

because i when i said 1 hr to him, he didn't say anything. So I thought it was $30for an hour.

??? only chargable in 2 hour block? They sure dont tell you that when u overstay 30 minutes and charge u extra 1 hour

Seriously - got a 2 hour minimum? Then like that after bonk may as well have a good nap to rechrage

As far as I know, only those H81 in Geylang area has 1-hr booking. Others are 2 hours.

Braddah, never been there. But if you go to a five star expect to spend that much in tips if you stay the whole weekend with your lover or FB. Seems decent. I mean $30 for an hour is not bad to rent a bed. Was it clean? I assume the ambience is nothing to write about.
