booking a hotel room...

hi, just wanna check with you guys... if I wanna book a room for 1 night, do they check ICs for both parties..? btw, I'm not talking about h81 or fragrance...

if they do check both ICs, is it possible if I check in alone, and ask her to come up to the room later..?

From all my past experience, they only check the IC of the one booking for registration
