what is the possibility of hiv infection?

hello all,

this is my first thread (and question). sorry if i appear ignorant.

i stopped fooling around 4 years ago. 2 years ago i went for a blood donation, everything was ok. my wife gave birth to a baby 3 years ago, and everything looks fine as well.

but now that there is so much attention on HIV lately, i'm beginning to wonder, whether there is a chance i could be HIV+.

so i would like to ask the brudders here what is the chance of me being HIV+?

pls help by giving me honest answers.. thank you all.

if you have not had sex with anyone except your wife for the last 4 years, the blood tests done when you donated blood 2 years ago would have ruled out any possibility of you being HIV positive.

This assumes that your wife has been 100% faithful to you over the years. if your wife has been fooling around behind your back, then the guarantee is null and void.

i always wonder how easy/difficult is it to catch HIV/ STDs? The advertisements always makes it seem harsher, but if so many people are sleeping around and bbbjs (dont think anyone f raw these days) shouldnt we all be dead? touch wood.

Latest programmes..(cant remember which day will telecast)...mention that in sillypore....4-5 person per day will be diagnose as HIV+....scary....

If both you and your wife are faithful to each other, I cannot see how you can be HIV+

can i feel relieved at this statement?

my wife has been faithful, i've no doubts about that, and i'd be very very guilty if i pass any std to her.

OF COURSE. u stop 4 yrs fooling and get blood tested (they screen blood for the donated blood) 2 yrs later ( 2 yrs for window period is over shot enough) and u r clear. so continus to be a good husband and father.
also working hard and stay healthy for ur family, nice day.
