An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
It was his first time out clubbing after working here for a decade.
But he will remember the occasion at the end of 2012 for all the wrong reasons.
He said he was dancing beside a tall Caucasian man when a woman cut in between them.
Suddenly, the woman turned towards the Myanmar national and slapped him on the face. She then accused him of molesting her.
He was arrested and charged with the offence.
After an emotionally draining year, he was acquitted on March 19 after a four-day trial last October.
He said: “I just want to leave the matter behind and move on with my life. And I’ll never go clubbing again.”
