SINGAPORE: The National Day Rally guest list typically includes leaders and representatives of different groups in Singapore, and this year (2014), there will be seats reserved for social media users. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will save seats for his followers for this year's Rally.

Mr Lee posted this video on his Facebook and Instagram accounts on Saturday (July 26). It urges those who wish to attend the rally to say on social media why they want to be there, using the hashtag #inviteMeToNDR.

The event will be held at the ITE Headquarters and College Central, on August 17.

Mr Lee will talk about how Singapore plans to address the challenges it faces, as well as the vision for the country's future.
