It was hot and windy afternoon.


Beep beep, beep beep. As Ryan looks at the message:

“The feeling of wanting by someone and trying to get that someone to want you and accept you for who you are cannot be more real than when he/she either leaves you for another or get together with you.”



"Good afternoon, Sir. Are you Mr. Ryan?” As the driver of the car stepped out to greet Ryan and proceeded to open the side door of the transport.

“Yes, this is he.” Gave a quick smile and popped into the middle seat of the Alphard.

“Here’s a drink for you.” Francis, the friendly uberXL driver handed over a bottled mineral water to Ryan.

“Thank you. To Bleu for a pickup and then over to Parkland Green, please.”



As Ryan pondered about the message he has gotten earlier, he can’t help but noticed how much the tiny island has changed since he has gotten back. Along the way, the driver was quiet except for occasion small chat.


“…wanting by someone…accept you for who you are…” This is going to be tougher than it seems.

The transport pulled up nicely at the lobby. Standing nearby, a lady in floral pink dress waited to board the transport as the door slides open.

“Hey there! Audrey?” As Ryan offered his hand to her.

“Hi Ryan?” Taking his hand and stepped into the cabin. Audrey sat next to Ryan and took off her Dior sunglass.

Francis, the friendly chauffeur, passed a bottled water to Audrey.


Audrey and Ryan.

They met over a party from their common mutual acquaintance. It was a fleeting moment when their eyes met and smiles exchanged. Nothing much happened thereafter. Just before Audrey left with her partner, Ryan signalled and pointed to his phone. She passed him a slip note (which was prepared earlier) and without talking, placed it into his hand as she walked past him. Her oblivious partner which was now at the main door talking to the host, preparing to leave.


Audrey’s first impression on Ryan:

He is 5”8, average body built with short wavy brown hair. Bespectacled (for today) and donned in white shirt with jeans and Onitsuka. He smells good. =)

Ryan’s first impression on Audrey:

She is 5”3, slim body built, mid-length wavy black hair that stopped short of her A - B cups. Her pink floral dress has a plunging V and an equal plunging V behind. She has a Behind that dress, a hint of a red lacy bra is evident as she adjusted herself from time to time. What a sight. (stop ogling, dude!)

“I have never seen you in glasses before. Why is that so?” As Audrey looked intently at Ryan, scanning his face for an answer.

“That’s because you never asked?” A smiling Ryan replied.

Soon they arrived at the destination and found themselves a nice and cooling cafe. Getting comfortable after ordering some finger food and drinks, Ryan couldn’t help but noticed Audrey’s petite frame and again his gaze fell to her bosom.

Just at this moment, Audrey looked up and matched Ryan’s gaze. She naughtily snapped at his arm and leaned over,

“I know you like what you saw. Please be patient and go slow with me.” As she hit the last word, she teased him with a soft blow near his ear.

Ryan gulped and breathed in deeply. Adjusting his composure, he cleared his throat and managed a weak smile back at Audrey.


Ryan took out his smart phone and reiterated the message sent by Audrey.

“Is everything ok with this message? Or does it suppose to have a deeper meaning to something complex?”

Audrey paused for a moment and looked into Ryan’s eyes. Held out her hand signalling that she wanted Ryan to hold her hand. Gladly, he took it.

As the story unfold, one thing was clear about Audrey’s current state of mind; she is in need of attention and love which was lacking in her current relationship. That may explain why she agreed to meet Ryan and perhaps why she will pass her number to him during the party. Or so he thought.

Time flies and evening falls. They decided to take a stroll along the pathway with the beautiful sunsetting behind them. Audrey’s arm hooked onto Ryan’s casually. Her body pressing ever so softly against his and periodically her breast came into contact with Ryan’s arm. They decided to take a break and sat down at one of the bench facing the sea.

No one initiated any conversation. Peaceful. The only sound is that of the waves clashing onto the breakwater breaking that silence. Ryan turned towards Audrey and holding her hand once more, moved forward and planted a kiss onto her left cheek. Reciprocating this, Audrey turned and lifted her face towards him, closing her eyes and readied herself for their first kiss.


The start of a beautiful affair and friendship.

It was a windy night and her hair was swept back by the wind, caressing her face as the dim moonlight shone through the partial cloudy skies, lighting up her face. Ryan was peeping through his half opened eyes taking in her beauty and ever so innocent look.

Breaking the kiss, Audrey savour the last of it and gazed at Ryan. She positioned herself closer to him as she motioned her coldness and lying her head against his chest, she could hear his heartbeat…steady and strong.

“Sigh” (softly).

“What’s wrong?” Ryan asked in a concern tone.

“I don’t wanna go home. Can you please take me somewhere tonight? Anywhere, just to be with you.” Audrey spoke, still with her head on his chest.

“Will this be ok? He won’t ask?” Looking down slightly at Audrey.

“He won’t bother, if he ever does…” replied Audrey in a monotonous and unfeeling manner.

Ryan broke the embrace and started to french Audrey once again. This time, they were more hungry for each other as they groped and moan, ignoring the passerby. They were in their own little world.

As Ryan raced through his memories to find a suitable love nest for their night together, he can only think of 2 which is more secluded and less likely that anyone can recognise them.

Beep beep. “Your uber is arriving…”

“Resort and Spa Sentosa, please.” As both of them climbed into the car. The driver gave a quick look at Ryan and focused back to Audrey’s low V dress before he move off.

Along the journey, both of them made small talks. None were too serious about their chat topics and they were reacting rather differently from what has transgressed moments ago.

After a long pause, Ryan decided to ask, “Are you regretting it?”

“No.” came Audrey’s reply without looking at Ryan.

“Hmmm, not too convincing but if you do have a change of mind, please say so when we reach the place.” Ryan trying not to sound disappointed.

“K.” a hint of pissed and hurt echoed from Audrey.


As the transport pulled into the quiet lobby, only the bell hop was seen. It was indeed quiet; peaceful suffice to say.

Walking hand in hand up the flight of stairs, Ryan head right for the front desk while Audrey took to the sofa at the waiting area. Ryan joined her moments later and extending his hand once more towards Audrey, she took it and they headed into the quiet of the night, walking towards their love nest.
