Hourly rate hotel open..

Called up Balestier hotel and was told not back in operation yet. Strength, a girl speaks in English. Usually it's a Chinese young guy or uncle speaking in mandarin.

Any idea which hourly rate hotel back for booking?

No. They are really strict about it.

I tried to register under just 1 NRIC. They kept reminding me that if I try to bring in any unregistered guest ... they will confiscate my room. I told them no problem.

Then I realised they locked all access to the rooms ... from carparks to other entrances ...

So I went up to my room first to wash up ... then went to collect my girl.

I parked somewhere and asked her to go into the room as a single person ... and I passed her the only key card. I thought I can just go in again myself and knock on the door later.

Nope ... they stopped her ... and though she showed the keycard ... they wanted to see her ID and they counter check with the name that was registered upon booking.

She was asked to return the keycard and ... asked to leave ...

Perhaps you can find a hotel where security is more lax ... but currently ... they all seem to be pretty tight on this ...

wow looks like very strict.. how about those 4 stars hotel? I book full day then can ask partner go up later?

I believe now all the same thing.

Unless you know somebody working in hotel ... who is willing to risk his job ...

I feel now best is just not to sabo anybody ... and just register with those who can register ...

Let say I book a hotel room in a 4 stars hotel then i wait in the room. Then my partner will come up to the room later, she must inform the counter and show them her nric before she goes up to the room?

Cant we pretend to be a guest and just walk right up the room after maybe safe entry?

Yes you can do that. All guests ... must register. Thats all.

Its just that ... some ... working girls ( like geylang ) do not want to register as they can get in trouble.

But if not geylang girls ... then shouldn't be an issue.

Booked a 4 star hotel (1 night use) for 2 pax some time ago for WL. Came alone first and Register myself with IC at reception and they ask where's my 2nd guest, i said coming later. Then told me that 2nd guest need to fill up some form with name and contact details for registration. Not sure if need show 2nd IC anot...

After check in, went out and pick her and walk past reception, walking separate ways and pretend not to see them. In the end lucky was not stopped but not a fan of having to use all this evasive method.

Not sure why now need 2nd guest to register since its not hourly hotel, guessing probably cause of covid.

Need 2 identity, better give them for verification purposes, nothing will happen even if she is a WL but if never check in properly, you might be in trouble if should there be a check.
